blue and green
Blue and green can be seen! This year they’re jewel-like and clear and echo the colours of the sea and sky. Watery and light through to deep and dark, Turquoise Blue, Emerald Green and soft Aquas.
Other beautiful blues this year are Indigo and Petrol, electric, inky and industrial and will be seen more teamed with greys
Light greens are also becoming the new ‘neutral’ of the palette with soft chartreuse and apple shades becoming popular for fabrics, paint and homewares.
Fabrics are sheer or shimmery, and materials to look out for are glass, melamine, acrylic and resin.
Printed textiles and handmade tiles are Morrocan inspired while bleached, limed furnishings are an effortlessly chic partner to blue and green.
The coastal look will also continue this year with coral motifs and shell encrusted accessories hot items. The colour indigo will be united with coral, jade, wicker, rattan and bamboo. As well as with floral and botanical prints, organic materials, stone and wood.
