These French enamelled cast iron pots by
Le Creuset are used nearly every day in our house, purely for their versatility.
Useful for cooking on the stove top, they can also go directly into the oven, complete with the lid as well, making them ideal for slow cooked meats, risotto, soups, curries and stews.
These pots are expensive but, in my opinion, well worth the investment. Cared for, they will last a lifetime and are a great wedding gift or for anyone who really enjoys and appreciates good cooking.
