summer prints

In amongst the numerous bills and junk mail I received in the post today, was something fun, a brand new collection to share from Australian fabric house Warwick.

I love all things Scandinavian so their new ‘Nordic’ collection (pictured here) particularly appealed.  I love the nod to Marimekko done in a thoroughly modern way and with the warm yellow colourway, I think very suited to our Australian lifestyle. 

The bold oversize blooms look particularly good paired with plains, stripes and smaller patterns.  It’s a very casual look but stylish all the same.

Thumbs up to Warwick. I’ll definitely be keeping my eye out for a seventies, wooden framed sofa to reupholster and may even have a few of those fun round ottomans made up too.
