basins
I like the idea of having ‘his’ and ‘hers’ areas in the bathroom so it’s good to see that double basins are still in. Having that little extra area beside the sink ‘just for you’ means you can add a flower in a vase, a display of perfume or after shave bottles, even a dish for a watch and earrings.

taps
They tell me that basin mixers are leading the tapware race and apparently now outsell three piece sets!

toots
In wall cisterns are what the crowd are going for, coupled with back to wall pans. I like the practical ‘cleanability’ of course but they also look great too.

baths
Freestanding baths are more accessible than ever before now that seamless acrylic baths have come on to the market. And with the malleable nature of acrylic, beautiful organic shapes and sculptures are being created for a real centerpiece in the bathroom. |

showers
Twin showers (overhead and hand shower on the one rail) are more popular than ever before. Personally I love the hand shower idea, great for rinsing and also for showering little ones.

heated towel rails have become a ‘must have’ luxury item to not only dry your towels but also to warm them in the cooler months. I have one and use it everyday. It helps cut down my laundry too as I don’t have to wash damp towels nearly as often. |
