Duct Tape Flowers

DIY duct tape flowers - Tara Dennis

You will need:

Coloured duct tape
Scissors
Floral wire
Glue (optional)

Step 1
Cut of a piece of duct tape about 4cm long. Fold both of the corners in and stick them down.

Step 2
Cut the point off the tape to make a curve. (you can leave it as a point if you would like your flowers to have pointy petals.)

Step 3
Wrap the petals one by one onto the end of the floral wire.

As you are doing this, create folds in the base of the petal. This will help the petals to sit further our from the stem.
You can add as many petals as you like. The more petals, the bigger the flower.

Once you have made several flowers you can bunch them all together and pop them in a little vase or tie them with a nice ribbon.

Tara's Top Tips

If your duct tape is not quite tacky enough to hold the petals in place I would recommend adding a bit of glue to the bottom of the flower where the base meets the stem.
