Christmas Crackers

Our table wouldn't be complete without the crackers, and this year, because they're so simple to do, we're making our own, filled with delicious chocolate treats – yum!

You will need:

Bon bon snaps (available for around $4 per 100 from craft stores)
Cardboard loo rolls
Sticky tape
Wrapping paper cut into A4 size sheets
Treats for inside – I love to use Lindt chocolate balls

How to:

1. I use tape to stick the bon-bon snap inside the cardboard cylinder then I wrap the paper tightly around it – some extra tape will hold it together.

2. Pinch together one end, then hold the cylinder upright and fill the open end with treats.

3. Pinch this together to create a cracker.

4. You can leave them plain or add more detail by cutting and glueing on some cards.
