heart ‘felts’

Felt is a lovely, easy fabric to learn to sew on and comes in a stack of pretty colours for about 80cents a-piece. 

Using our heart template, cut out a series of hearts, then using a basic blanket stitch and cotton thread sew them together in pairs. Before finishing, stuff them with cotton wool balls or fibre fill.

These hearts can be used as pin cushions or else to hang on drawer knobs for decoration. They can also be used as key rings or hanging pendants.
