easter pot
A gardener would really enjoy an Easter gift like this, a pretty pot filled with things they can enjoy while gardening. Seeds, gloves, chocolate eggs, and of course something they’ll find difficult to grow but easy to eat, beautiful chocolate flowers
You will need:
plant pot
coconut fibre
gardening gifts
skewers (from the supermarket)
green food colouring
chocolate foil wrapped eggs
silk flowers (I used tropical flower lei from the $2 shop)
sticky tape
How to:
1. Fill the plant pot with coconut fibre before adding the gardening gloves and seeds
2. Cut up the Easter card to create a gift tag, stick this on to a mini garden stake and write your message on the back. Add this along with a few handfuls of foil wrapped chocolate eggs
3. To create the chocolate flowers, take some wooden skewers and paint them with green food colouring. Stand them in a piece of sponge or styrene to dry. Insert the sharp ends gently through the silk flowers, you can use one or two flowers, then push them gently into each chocolate egg. If the flowers want to slip down the skewer, use a small piece of tape at the base of the petals to hold in place
