You will need:
Eggs
Acrylic paints
Glue
Jo Sonja's Opal Dust Glitter
Sharp sewing needle
Toothbrush
Kid's storybooks (colour photocopy the picture pages)
How to:
1. Start by blowing the eggs. Gently pierce each end of the egg with a sharp needle then push it all the way through to break the yolk. This is an important step to make blowing the eggs easy. Once the egg is empty, flush through with water and dry well.
2. The secret to holding the eggs while painting is sit the wet eggs on pins pushed into a piece of styrene
3. To speckle the eggs, use a stiff toothbrush and a watery mix of Raw Umber acrylic paint
4. When dry, cut out colour photocopied pictures and glue them on. Brush over with the glittery opal dust to add shimmer
