Carrot Bags

Little carrot bags are easy to make and a great project for kids learning to sew. Make a whole bunch and fill with mini chocolate eggs for a fun Easter gift.
You will need:
Orange and green felt
Green ric-rac
Glue
Thread
Sewing needles
Template
Pins
Scissors
How to:
1. Using the template, cut out the carrot from the orange felt, and from the green, the trim and handle as well. Cut two pieces of ric-rac to size.
2. Glue or stitch the ric-rac to the handle and also the trim.
3. Pin the handle on the orange felt using the template as a guide. Once you're happy with the placement can stitch it on.
4. Stitch or glue the trim to the curved edge of the orange piece. This will cover the points where the handle is attached.
5 .Fold your carrot in half with the trim on the inside and stitch along the straight edge. Once you have done this you can turn your bag out the right way and fill with delicious treats!
